Stunning 360 imagery Virtual Tour of Chiswick Park, London

A 360 imagery virtual tour can have many different applications. It can be used to market any given location or venue, commercial or residential developments, as educational tools or to help promote a product such as a car…..and the list goes on. Here, our tour is being used to promote the facilities and lifestyle opportunities within a business park, such as cafes, shops, restaurants, gym etc. It is aimed at both the business occupiers as well as the employees that work there.

360 imagery were commissioned by the on site management team, “Enjoy Work” (www.enjoy-work.com), after we met at a recent exhibition. They were very impressed by both the quality and the interactivity that a 360 imagery panoramic virtual tour can offer, both for external and internal scenes. For example, externally we use pop up boxes to link to local transport networks, info about other business premises on the Chiswick High Road etc and other useful information. Internally, text annotations throughout the tour provide useful information about the various offerings available – with the ability of seeing cafe/restaurant opening times, links to each website, menu download, etc.

With 11 scenes in total, we begin our tour with a stunning ‘WOW’ opening external scene, shot using our unique mast system from 8 metres high. All 8 of the external shots use this technique which we developed in-house to capture high resolution panoramas from this height. It is perfect for photographing above crowds, street furniture and parked cars etc, and gives a real impact to the opening scene. It really engages the viewer to want to explore more.

The viewer is navigated using arrows, thumbnails and an aerial site plan with interactive hot spot markers.

The virtual tour is finished off with a bespoke Graphic User Interface (GUI) designed around the development corporate identity, logo and colour sway. It blends perfectly into their existing website.

As with all of our work, it is published in HTML5 so is fully mobile-responsive and cross-platform compliant, working on desktop, Android and iOS.
