CGI-based virtual tours are becoming more and more popular with developer clients. I’ve been producing these for a few years now, adding them to my standard offering of marketing services.
CGI virtual tours are a great way to start the marketing process well in advance before a site has been prepared for construction and for visualising how a scheme could look with various sizing / unit layouts.
This is the first project for new client Cole Waterhouse at the end of 2023 – modelling the next Phase 1B on its established Konect62 scheme next to Junction 34 of the M62 (hence the scheme name!). Phase 1A (3 x units) is complete and the client wanted to model 2 x variations of the next Phase 1B – Option 1: a large, single unit (called Big K) at a whopping 735,000 sq ft and / or Option 2: 3 x units varying in size from 106,000 sq ft up to 492,000 sq ft.
As well as detailed CGI 3D modelling of Phase 1B, we also did a block massing exercise fort Phase 2 – to see the sort of sizes of “sheds” this final phase of the development could accommodate.
Add to this a bespoke-designed User Interface designed around the development branding, with an interactive Google Map, Location Map and Agent details, and hey-presto, a brilliant piece of marketing collateral!
