Harworth Group was a new client for 2023. It is one of the leading land and property regeneration companies in the UK, owning and managing approximately 14,000 acres across around 100 sites in the North of England and the Midlands.

I was commissioned to create a virtual tour of its latest development, R-Evolution on its huge development site Gateway 36, Barnsley adjacent to Junction 36 of the M1 Motorway.

Whilst the R-Evolution scheme had not reached PC (Practical Completion), the building works were almost finished, and enough so that the virtual tours around the units still highlight perfectly the layout, space and size of the available units. Note I also added in the next phases of development on the wider Gateway 36 site by superimposing the 2D site plans on to the development plots. A straightforward (and cost-effective) way of visualising the upcoming phases.

As is standard with all my property virtual tours, this includes:

3 x aerial drone 360s captured from 400 feet.
Regional “high level” aerial 360 rendered from Google Earth and annotated with the regional road / motorway network – perfect for showing how the development sits so close to Junction 36 of the M1.
Other scenes captured using eye-level and mast elevated equipment.
Animated hotspots within the scenes allow you to take a ‘virtual walk’ around the site and inside the buildings.
360 degree panning x 180 degree up / down view for a truly immersive virtual tour experience. VR ready for viewing in Google Cardboard & VR viewers.
User Interface designed around the client corporate branding for that unique, bespoke look. No bland, generic 3rd party branding here!
HDR (High Dynamic Range) photography techniques evens out the lightest and darkest areas of the image, so you won’t see ‘blown out’ windows or loss of detail.
Virtual tour compatible with all current platforms (iOS, Android, PC, etc) and is mobile-responsive. No separate dedicated app, specialist software or plugin required to view.
‘White Label’, unbranded service available.
